What we did

The Law Society Group was previously using a manual paper based system for DSE assessment and face-to-face courses for manual handling. They found this to be very resource-heavy and time consuming. By setting up the WorkRite system, we allowed their system to be automated and have kept adapting the course content to meet their needs.

Our goals

  • Fit seamlessly into client’s existing automated system
  • Adapt courses to meet client’s needs
  • Make health and safety transparent and compliant
  • Give staff greater flexibility in their training

Our argument to invest in the WorkRite courses over face-to-face training was that, for the legal sector, bite-sized is better. As a result we have had a much higher uptake and a much better response. We can see the results from the training instantly with the reports. This suits our staff much better as people aren’t always available at the same times – they can go at their own pace. It is a huge saving of time being able to save and customise reports. The reporting suite is user friendly; it’s easy to get information quickly. People can complete their training to suit themselves, and we don’t waste time chasing. We reduce costs by not having to hire external trainers, or utilise internal space for training days.
