What we did
The university has been a WorkRite customer since 2009. In this time their health and safety structures have been improved and in 2012 they released all of the courses on their WorkRite system again to ensure compliance across all sites.
In addition to the courses on stress, fire and general health and safety, their DSE assessment was set up so that end users could resolve more than 90% of workstation issues themselves. This, coupled with the fact they achieved more than 93% completion within eight weeks of roll-out is testament to the benefits the WorkRite tool offers.
We have also developed a bespoke course for the university covering the induction of contractors who come on to their site. This course enables the university to maintain a consistent level of training that can be recorded.

We have found that the WorkRite software is efficient and effective, with the generation of management information easily managed. An e-learning platform for delivery of our basic health and safety training over multiple sites was essential; the WorkRite software enabled us to achieve that cost effectively.
