Paediatric first aid (QA level 3 award) course

Hosted £1,195 (ex VAT)

You choose the date and provide the venue, usually your premises, and we provide the training and any necessary equipment.

The course is designed in order for delegates to develop the skills necessary to provide effective first aid for children and babies.

2 day, maximum 12 delegates per course

This qualification fulfils OFSTEDs first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and child minders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within The Child Care Register guide).

Following successful completion of a written and practical assessment, delegates will be issued with a certificate in paediatric first aid, valid for three years.

Delegates will attain knowledge and practical competencies needed to deal with emergency situations, chronic or sudden paediatric illness or paediatric injury. This course caters for higher risk environments.
