A day in the life of an agile worker - infographic

Many of us now regularly work from home or in locations away from the office. This way of working is known as agile working, or activity-based working.

While it may not always be possible to carry out computer work at a DSE-compliant workstation, there are things we can all do to protect our health at work.

We've produced this infographic to give an idea of some healthy habits you can adopt while you work from home or remotely.

Of course, every agile working day looks different - that's the point, but we've tried to fit in as many ideas as possible into our character's day, such as cycling to the office, using a sit-stand desk and going for a walk halfway through the day. A day like this is not possible for everyone. Our tasks are different, we don't all have access to walking and cycling routes - but we can all make a conscious effort to move more at work, and when we're on the move without access to ergonomic equipment, stretching, moving and standing are necessary to prevent slipping into poor postures for extended periods.
